loveliness

Some of you may recall me meeting Emily at the Christians at the Crossroads Conference in February. Well, Emily and her sister, Breezy, have recently started their own business publishing paper dolls!

I just received mine in the mail and I had to share some pictures with you! They are pure loveliness :)

These will now be carefully placed in my hope chest for safe keeping until my little girls are able to play with them :) what a wonderful play toy these will be!

Now, you really must go to their store and look around!
If you're wanting some inspiration and encouragement, just read this snippet from their about me page:

The vision of Noble Rose Press is to glorify the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by uplifting daughters, the future wives and mothers, through products that will inspire them in their biblical roles as virtuous women.

beautiful, isn't it?! What a wonderful vision!

Thank you Emily and Breezy for being such wonderful young ladies! I don't know about others, but you have inspired me :) can't wait to see you at the conference in December!

How very neat! I just might have to do the same and purchase some for my hope chest as well! :)

Thank you so much Miss. Jessica for sharing!
You will have to introduce these lovely ladies to me at the conference! ;)

Blessings in Christ,

Miss. Antoinette K.

I've been wanting to buy the same book of paper dolls.

By the way, I love your blog design. Did you design it yourself and if you did, would you please let me know in what program you made it in?

Thanks.

Yes, I did my own blog design, but it's really only a background image over a standard blogger layout... I didn't use any program other than Photoshop to design the background image.
oh yes, I generally don't publish anonymous comments... can you please write you name next time! thanks :)

Your blog is beautifully done, and I noticed in the comments on your "loveliness" post that you designed the background yourself.

I am new to blogging, and I am an html vereran but I never learned javascript. I am picking up a bit here and there, but I find I get "misplaced" in it easily. I have been trying to get a background I designed to display properly on my blog, but the directions I have from cutestblogontheblock.com seem incomplete. No matter what I do, the image wants to repeat and scroll. Could you share how you got your background image to "be still" and function correctly?

Thanks very much for sharing, and have a blessed day!

That is beautiful! I love paper dolls! My sister and I had played with paper dolls when we were younger and instead of puttting them away, we used them as a wall border.

Cindy- So sorry for not reply sooner! Which template were you trying to use? I took a peak at a few of the backgrounds from there and they seem to be coded not to repeat and scroll.... Maybe they just forgot to do that one the one you were looking at. If you want, contact me through my contact form which is located at the bottom of the right-hand column on my blog and I'll see if I can help you!
Sarah- what a great idea! I never thought of that :)
